Who helps where in Flanders

The Map (BE)

One of the questions I’m asked most often is whether I know a good place to refer someone to. That can mean very different things: diagnosis, therapy, a psychiatrist, an autism coach, …

I have to admit that I often don’t have the answer either. This page is an attempt to create a (partial) overview of what exists in Flanders. The map isn’t complete, but I add to it whenever I can.

Please note that the overview below only shows that a service exists; it can’t tell you how people experience its quality.

A special thank you to my colleague psychiatrist Dr. Gertjan Vanderhaegen, who, together with his colleagues at Enso, contributed an important part of this map.

Most of these services work in Dutch. If you need help in English or another language, it’s worth asking them directly what they can offer.

Below you’ll find concrete services and referral addresses. Not sure where to start, or who does what? Begin at the starting point.
